I'm looking for black Silkie eggs or birds, too. Good luck... I hope someone answers you soon. Have you checked the auctions?

I'm getting some from cjexotic (she's on the forum) later in the season. You might try her. I think she ships.

I have a question for those of you with black Silkies is the temperament of the black roo's different than other colors. I have eight roosters and all are tame easy going but my black,

he tries to kill me every day. Luckily he is small, I hatched and raised all of them what makes him so different.

Mine has rotten aim too I wouldn't trim the feathers around his eyes because then he could see me better. Lol

I love the way mine looks too I need him for type in my breeding projects. If I had a suitable replacement I would get rid of him. Right now my blacks are sharing a pen with my blues and splash every time he attacks me the Blue rooster gives him a good peck.

I breed Blacks on Blacks. I infact only own black silkies 0.o. I also find it hard to get the wing feathering to be correct but i love the blacks.
