I do know:) Thanks though! We eat quinoa regularly around here. It looks so pretty to grow though, and I like to give it to the chickens, so I'm going to give it a shot this year.
 
I have read from county extension poultry research that Quinoa has trypsin inhibitors, which basically means this cereal can cause growth and negative protein ingestion issues. It must be cooked or heated to avoid this issue.
