Organic Non GMO Wholesome Feed?

Does such a thing even exist for chickens? In the past we fed our hens Layena, and it just never felt right to me....

The main reason that natural or GMO chicken food never felt right to you was that it is intended to be eaten by chickens and not buy humans. You see humans way over complicate everything that is new to them or that humans have trouble understanding.

When the REFORMATION was underway in the Scottish Low Lands, Organic farmers (the only kind of farmers back then) routinely expected only 2 or 3 grains of the old Organic Gray Oat variety harvested for every seed saved and sown from the previous season's harvest. If you ask me that is worst than a "piddling" business, it is at best a tragic business.

I know, dogs are way more annoying than a few chickens.

The kind of dogs people get in the city are usually useless, herding, working, or toy breeds. I don't mind the actual guardian flock dog breeds and if I didn't have such a tiny backyard for a large flock dog, I would've had one by now. Wonderful guardian dogs (not herding dogs because they will run after predators and leave the flock unprotected) should have at least a 1/2 or more acre and a sizable flock of livestock or poultry to guard. In my little backyard it just wouldn't work -- the dog would never get enough exercise. Meanwhile surrounding neighbors have pit bulls, rotties, shepherds, dobermans, pomeranians, terriers, mixed mutts, and a ton of loose chihuahuas running around -- cute dogs but useless for my purposes.
