I'm jealous of you folks whose grass doesn't grow on runners like our St. Augustine and Bermuda grass does. If I grew that way I'd be "edging" continuously. Beautiful!! All of them! My own is in "summer burnout" already so no pics for now.

Love those Orps!

I don't care why the chicken crossed the road, as long as mine don't!

I know what you mean I dig up runner grass by the multiple 5 gall bucket regularly!!!!!!!!!  My two arch enemies for the garden are runner grass and squash bugs, can't make up my mind which is worse.

When I complain about my runner grass some of the gardeners in western OK remind me of thier issues w/ goat heads, so on that note I am actually lucky it's just runner grass and not goat heads!!!!

Problem is, in addition that that awful stuff you're talking about, our regular lawn grasses grow on runners. Argh. I pull that runner grass weed stuff up too when I can but it's just everywhere since the drought. Obviously it's a lot more drought tolerant than the "normal" weeds and grass. Dang stuff.
