I've got about 30 eggs waiting to hatch. Assuming they all do (best case scenario, of course), how big of a space do I need for the first few days?
I was going to use a 22 gallon aquarium, but I gather it won't be big enough, and I should probably have a larger space for the chicks to move about and not be too cramped.
Any suggestions? There are lots of pictures in the brooder thread, I know, but I'm not sure what's the average amount of floor space needed per chick?
