Thank you!  I like hearing from a 35 year veteran!  If I took all of those articles seriously, I should have died a long time ago considering I haven't been eating organic food all of my life. Lol! Believe me ... I also eat healthy and joined a CSA this year. BUT this organic craze can cost a bundle and I am not so sure that I could afford to raise chiickens if I have to feed them organic feed.  I hear your point about other more lethal issues for the chickens.  I am only raising 6 chicks (for now!)

Mom to four children between 5 and 11 years old. Love our two Cocker Spaniels named Maggie and Winston. DH - not as excited as me to raise chickens,, however willing and that is all I ask!
First time mama to 9 chickies!  2 BO 2 Salmon Faverolles 3 silkies 1 Delaware and 1 White Plymouth Rock!  Can't wait!
