Looking for Russian orloff breeder

Hello. I'm hoping someone can direct me to anyone who breeds different color varieties of the Russian Orloff. I have the spangled version, but I've read that they come in different color varieties as well like White, Black, mahogany,etc. Does anyone know any Russian orloff breeders who would have any of the above mentioned or even a different variety not mentioned. I love my spangled Orloffs and would love to expand. I'm going to the Ohio national poultry show for the first time this year, but that isn't until November. I've tried googling, but without any breeder results either. However, I was able to see images from feather site that they do exist, but they only credited the photographer taking the pictures, not the farm they were taken at Any help GREATLY appreciated. Mahogany seems to be the other color available.

Some talk of whites, but no pics.

My husband and I ordered some Russian Orloff chicks from Ideal Poultry out of Texas last summer. We got 12 hens and a rooster. They are great birds and we are looking to get some more this spring but we want to try a different hatchery to ensure a different bloodline for breeding. Let me know if you find another hatchery that carries them.

I have Spangleds in both large & bantam sizes (non-hatchery stock), both of which I'll be offering eggs from this spring/summer.

I also have Mahogany, but will not be offering any of these for sale until probably spring of 2012 as they need more work).

I know there is someone working on Cuckoo and I'll be getting some white bantams this spring as well.

Personally, I've had chicks from both places and they should be avoided. Some of the "Orloffs" I got from Ideal were RUMPLESS and most of the ones I got from Sandhill (after a two year wait) had PINK legs.

Thank you for the warning! I would really like Healthy and Quality Chicks! Keep me in mind when you have eggs available Or let me know if you sell chicks that I can purchase. I'm interested in preserving the russian orloff. Some say they have a sinister look to them, and that's why they aren't very popular. I love how they look! I think they are beautiful, and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder!

I only ship hatching eggs and this spring I'll only have spangled in large & bantam. They can be nasty to other birds (in my experience) but so far the hens and LF are very sweet to me. The bantam roos--are another story. I've been handling them daily for the past week to get them calmed down and respectful--I am taking them to a show next month but GEEZ....I've been getting them out of their pen by putting a gloved hand in and pulling it back out (with a rooster attached!) My DH calls them "pitbull chickens" because they lock onto the glove! LOL

LOL..." pit bull chickens" ...that's cute. I'm not the most computer saavy individual so please bear with me. I don't know what all the abbreviations stand for...what does " LF" stand for...Large fowl? and DH? sorry ......I also used to have a rooster that was very hard to work with. I used to tell my husband about being "attacked" by our bantam rooster and he would laugh because he thought that was really funny to hear about...until I was at work and HE had to water the chickens one day. The little bugger put a hole through the little plastic waterer that he was bringing to them and beat on his legs with his wings....Needless to say that once that happened "Earl" the bantam buff rock, found a new home...at this time. I actually don't have any chickens...I'd given the last of my little silkie hens to a friend who wanted a few chickens for her daughter to feed and now I only have 3 geese and 6 ducks. When I read an article about the critical status of the Russian orloff and saw pics of them...It was love at first sight. So now I have a chicken coop just waiting for some new and lovely, if not a little sinister, chicks
