How can I tell a male from a female Diamond Dove?

I really want to get a couple diamond doves and I really want a breeding pair, sooooo how can I tell them apart?

Males have a very bright red cere around the eye, and hens have a more dull red color.

yes, thanks as well, as ive been looking, and wondering as well, if i can get some, unless i just get hatching eggs (can you foster diamond dove eggs to finches, budgies or tiels?).

keeping assorted bantams and standard chickens..    pigeons: "white dove release" racing homers, flying flights, flying birmingham rollers, parlor rollers, parlor tumblers, "coop tumblers", Chinease owls.

    Looking to talk to others who enjoy our pigeon/dove hobby.  Also looking to talk chickens, especially black bantam true rosecombs i hope to have again someday, as well as silkies, and...

male ceres on there eyes are thicker and the female are thinner thats how tell male from female

proud owner of seramas and a old english rooster, cochin hen, also breeder of lovebirds and quail. A true friend is one u can count on the most when u truely need them.
