Well night one of trying to move my BB Red Hen Gracie on to the new nest in the new hutch with her other bantam flock mates.

I tried doing it this morning but she wasnt having it. Tonight she screeched then scooted the eggs under her. Maybe because it was pitch black! lol.png

Lets hope she sticks there tomorrow too.... fl.gif

BTW, Im going to try an be on here more. I have just been really busy. I miss this place!

I am a chicken fanatic!

    I love them all!

Along  with any animal!

I have stopped trying to post all my chickens on here because I have now come to the point where I have to many to post!!

Anyways, I have Serama eggs for sale. (Limited Availablility.)

Days away from our first try at hatching eggs under Miss Broody! -so so so excited- I hope they hatch okay!

There are three barred rock eggs under her - started with four, one was clear ~ candled and all 3 are wiggling.

21st day would be Wednesday at midnight, will they start hatching Wednesday or Thursday? hu.gif

Two of the eggs are light brown and one is dark brown.

I wonder if the darker brown egg hatches & grows to be a hen, would she lay dark eggs too? hu.gif

I am SOOO excited!! wee.gifPlease Lord, let one be a girl. Wish us luck!

My BYC Page has photos ~ Does yours?
My introducing page & visit our Hen House!
I'm so egg-cited! Have an egg-cellent day!

If they are due on Wednesday I would be on the lookout on Tuesday.  My LF eggs started piping on day 19 and hatched day 20.  We were having a heat wave but still...  The Silkies started piping on day 20 and hatched on day 21.  :)  Good Luck!
