My little boys started crowing about 2 weeks ago...well they make screeching sound and flap their wings with their chest out....they try to match my BLRW roo.  It is funny...but my point is, they are quite young and don't have any saddle feathers yet coming in, but I can for sure who is a boy by the comb size and color and the screeching.

 Its 14 weeks tomorrow

What do you think about starting an egg swap thread for only Cream Legbar eggs?  It would help us all diversify our lines.  ???

How old are your boys?  I was very amused when my 11 week old started crowing last week, when I spotted one of the 6 1/2 week olds yesterday who skipped the crowing and went striaght to trying to mount an uncooperative very young pullet.

He was hatched May 3rd, so I really wonder how I could have thought he was a she at hatch. It had all the dark of a pullet now I sure wish I would have taken a picture of it to show everyone..

Any one have any pullets they'd like to sell me caf.gif

I'd say you're lucky.  I ordered 4 girls and 2 boys last winter - they sent extra boys - only extra boys.  I had so many extra boys I ended up having to sell one of my girls in order to convince someone to take the extra boys.  I wasn't a happy customer.

Your CL roo is lovely. I agree with you he has a great crest. I have a hen who is laying - let me know if you want some eggs.
