How lucky you are to be able to buy them in a pet store.  I had to have mine shipped from one side of the continent to another and prayed that they wouldn't get killed in the process.

Here are my three juvenile birds I hatched from Boykin's eggs. They are about 9 weeks old.

They all have lovely crests.

Here is a fourth that hatched from another seller's eggs on eBay. She does not have a crest.

These two hatched yesterday and and I gave them to my broody Ameraucana. Both are females from my own birds. Two more died without pipping. They were both pullets as well.

This is a current pic of my rooster Reginald and one of my pullets.

I am finding the cream legbars to be somewhat difficult to hatch. Is anyone else having a problem. I wonder if it is because of my new Brinsea 190 cabinet incubator. The Isbars and Icelandics have hatched fine though. Granted my cream legbar eggs are small pullet eggs. I think I'll set some more and see what happens.

Thanks for looking!

Mary

Kathy. Why are you over here causing trouble? I HAD to get the Brinsea because it's yellow! Everything in my sunroom is yellow. Sheesh. Don't you have some emus to chase?  smack.gif

Yellow, as in egg yolk..... like non-developing eggs. Thank you, Brinsea.

The emus are sleeping, so I had to come here for entertainment. I knew I could count on you for that.

There's a couple of us near you with juveniles who might be able to provide you with a cockerel in the fall when our girls get old enough to lay.
