So, when you really want to get into a breed, the very best thing you can do is find out if they have a breed club because there you will find the best of the best. The Brown Leghorn has one of the oldest breed clubs in the nation. Here is the link: http://www.the-coop.org/leghorn/ablc1.html#about If it doesn't work just google "American Brown Leghorn Club". Dues for one year are $8.00, which is a pitence. Join right away, and when you send in your information ask let the secretary know that you are seriously looking for stock. He/She is going to direct you to breeders. One of the best ways to procure stock is actually not as chicks but as pairs and trios from which you'll incubate your own chicks next spring.

The Brown Leghorn is one of the most perfected varieties of fowl in the nation today, and hatchery stock cannot compare. If you already have hatchery stock, great, use them for eggs, but think about getting some high quality brown leghorn stock for your future breedings.
Join the club and best of luck!!
