So the STUPID NEWS MEDIA makes a point to try to zoom in on the license plate of the troopers car so they can try to figure out who it was. See for those who don't know, the lic plate is also badge #.  Lucky the lic plates had already been removed early on.

My greatest sympathies to the family, friends and co-workers.

Flippin Media!!!    he.gif   barnie.gif  And they wonder why the general public hates them!!! They are so  out of control sometimes!!!  So sorry to hear!!  And very sad!!!

Sorry for my ignorance, I don't watch the news, and now you know why!  I can't change what happens and all it does is make me sad or angry!  So I just don't, but I would like to know why he would do that and if the little girl is ok!!  Heart goes out to all the parents!!

hugs.gif  What beautiful dogs!!  I'm so sorry about Abby, but know that you are doing the right thing by ending her pain.  It's SO much harder when their body gives out on them and their mind is still here.  Letting go is one final act of so much love and compassion, but it is also the hardest.  hugs.gif

OMG!!  That is terrible!!!!  I just don't understand then why he needed a gun to runaway?? I guess to protect himself!!  Where was the State in all this?? I guess they must have thought that his uncle was the best option??  Hmmm  this is really sad!!  I really wish that people cared as much about kids as they do about their pets!!!   You see ALL this advocacy for animals, and very little for children like this little boy, or maybe there is and I just missed see it??   Just praying that this little guys are going to be ok,!!  What a pure tragedy!!!  So sorry!!  hit.gif

Well, as usual I see I missed a bunch of stuff!  Tried to catch up with bits and pieces!!

I hope the weather gets better over there for sure!!  It was extremely windy here for two days!! Had to go out and pick stuff up that I thought was tied down!!!

I did lose my hen last night!!  Terry got back from Alaska late Wednesday night and Dairygold had a tank explode up in Lynden so now he is going back and forth to ID to move the milk through!

Anyway, we went to Dels last night to get some antibiotics for her and when I got back she was gone. I knew she may not make it. So, I did a necropsy , she did have an impacted crop, actually I could tell after she passed cause of the smell and fluid, I had tried hanging her upside down and messaging her crop but nothing came out!!??  Anyway, so I found a LOT of wood shavings, also opened up the abdomen and I did not see any ova, and there was a very hard piece of intestine, so even if I had opened her  crop and fixed that, I'm not sure it would have saved her, I don't think that what ever was in the intestine would have passed through!!  It's a shame!  Glad I know what it was tho, maybe a few more years in this and I will be able to figure out how to diagnose and fix my own birds!! Since we don't have any DVMs to help out!!  just sayn

So sorry for the losses here!!  Hugs to all!

Zgoat, it's a tough spot, been there myself, your doing the right thing!!

Good news about the son and niece CGG!!

Broody good to see you on here!! Hope you can make Monroe!!

Thanks for the good links from everyone!

Anyway, got lots to do guys may not be on here a lot in the next week.

Oh doctor update, he called me yesterday and said that he wants me to go up and have a pain shot !!  I asked him if he figured out what it was and he said no!! I told him well, I think I still need a Cat scan done on the hip ( since they didn't do one when I was up there!)  they only did the SI joint which shows arthritis!!  I said arthritis doesn't explain the nerve pain??

So anyway, blah blah blah.... I am going back to my GP and see what he wants to do next if the VA continues to put me off, I'll go get a second opinion from a civilian doctor then take it back to  the VA!!!!  Nothing like putting a bandaid on a gaping wound!!  somad.gif

APPLESAUCE!

I didn't get the incubator. I told the woman i wanted it, and my son who lives in the south end would call and arrange pick up. Well, my son didn't bother calling until this morning, and in the mean time, she'd sold it. Applesauce I say.

We’re Getting Another Dog

Jeanne - Swall Meadows, California

Sometimes the profound comes out of our mouths without us even thinking about it ahead of time or even realizing it when it happens. It’s afterwards that we understand the depth of what we’ve said and the real truth of those words.

I said, “We’re getting another dog.”

That is a beautiful story.
