So with that being said. My Dr. feels that going to Monroe should be out of the question. So I will not be attending the show this year.

Oh poo.

We will miss you!!!

I read on the WFF catalog that you bird has to be banded?? I don't have any bands and I'm not sure I can afford to band my Muscovy's before the show?? Is that something you have to buy like from a poultry supplier and put on??

So that means you can't show with out one??  I got a hen from the Chehalis show and she didn't have a band on her??d

Just wondering???

Yeah they have to be banded. Cutler Supply is the cheapest/best place I've found to buy them. You have to have the bands ahead of time so you can send in the band # with your entry form. What are planning on showing?

Two new Muscovy's I have, a black drake and a blue hen. Hmm, doesn't seem like very much time to get them!

You can write whatever band number you want on the entry form, and then change the cage card when you get there.  Just make sure your cage card matches your birds' bands.

Thanks!

You are more than welcome to come see my set up. I am stuck in a sub-division suburban purgatory. So a semi small set up has been created in the rather small back yard. But I have my moments where I can pretend to be living on my farm. lau.gif I do know that I have way more chickens than any of the other neighbors in the sub-division. ya.gif

this past week has been a long one with this past weekend being the hardest one in a long time.

I have found a safe place for my son for a week or so, so I hope he will be in a better place when we bring him home again... Im going to be going to Lacey everynight right after I get off of work, will be there around 6 and head home at 7...

I just want to really say think you. I also ck my PM's.

I would love to drop off a dinner for you and your family. I have a choice of a Chicken casserole, Meat and Tater pie or Lasagna. The noodles in the lasagna are handmade. All the dinners need is to be reheated until hot. I cook more and more like a once a month type cooking. I never know how I am going to feel, and this way DH, and the kids don't starve or make a bigger mess of my kitchen.

This seals it for me. I am going to get me some leg bands. I can't ever tell the difference between the 2 Penelope's. I had given them separate names, but realized that it wasn't working out since they look alike. I could show Miss Tolay again. She won't win, because the Porcelain color isn't recognized yet. But she sure is pretty.
