I haven't ever vaccinated any of my chicks before. But I would be interested to split some vaccines with you. If I remember right. The vaccines are only sold in massive quantities.

I love vaccination parties.  I attended one last year in Spanaway and was very much relieved afterward that my babies had gotten their Marek's vaccines.  I'm more than happy to chip in for vaccines for parties and think it's a terrific idea.  I'm hoping there will be another one down this way again this spring.

This question has been coming up a few times:

Answer: We leave PMs in Trash indefinitely. However, once each night, we'll check to see if you have more than 20 Trashed PMs and delete the oldest ones after there are 20+.  For example, if there are 25 PMs in your trash box, we'll delete the oldest 5 and will leave the remaining "newer" trashed messages in place.

 

We may add a "delete trash" feature in the future, but it is a relatively low priority.

I have 33 pages of trash e-mails now.  It would be nice to get rid of them.....

Thanks I agree about seeing both breeds. I just hope that everything goes well tomorrow. Hopefully Oso will be with me when I get on the ferry at Mukilteo ferry. I am going to meet up and get some Dorking eggs at the Clinton terminal, and return back on the same ferry. It's going to be a long day for me. 

You're getting Dorkings?  The guy who took my Orpington/Sussex boy last year had emailed me saying he was looking for Dorkings.  Who's got 'em?

I've got mareks vaccine and ILT vaccines that I am bringing to the WFF Show.  I have an ad on their show flier with prices.

Incidently, you can buy single bottles of any vaccine, you need not buy in "massive" quantity.

Pipsandpeeps does, but she runs 300+ birds and usually has vaccine for sale, see the "swap " thread she started or PM her.

I buy 3 to 4 bottles of Marek's at a time through Jeffers.com...and add an icepack.

Shipping is what is expensive as they must go 2nd day air and be kept cold.

So buying 1 bottle is dumb...keeps in the fridge for ever practically.

So I save up multiple hatches in my brooder & when I get over 50 chicks, I vaccinate them all, regardless of age and any new birds I have bought from others that are not vaccinated.

Jeffers.com also has meds, needles, syringes & the like.

Just checking in to say Hi

    Got to see my son last night, he looks as good as he can. Told me I didnt need to come down today cause its a hour away, told him I want to if its ok with him. Said wait till tomorrow Mom and I'll let you know.  Well got a tec at 6 or so this morning with a list of stuff he needs so Im happy I get to go see him again.  It so helps when you can see their face's .  I tried not to cry infront of him last night he doesnt need to worry about me thats for sure. But he spoke of something sad. Thats what I told him to so its ok to cry when you talk of sad things, doesnt mean thats bad.. Hope that was the right thing to do.

He also told me they thought he should stay for 2 weeks maybe a little more..

    Than I found a nice hole in my wall from other son, so we had a talk too. Told him he needed to share his feelings with us becasue I know this has got to be hard on him. That and the next time he felt he needed to punch something we have a punching bag in his bedroom to use it...

  Its so hard..

Have to say it sure was good to drive my bus this morning, the kids keep me hopping and I see life...
