So I got a juror postcard in the mail from District Court. I tried to get out of it but so far, I'm still on the list for March 14th....not sure how to get out of it if I'm going to be out of town on the 16th for the show. I said I knew most of the prosecutors and attorneys and we're pretty close to the judge (family friends), that I had a 6 month old baby and that I was going to be out of town but that didn't work.  Oh and that I work at the courthouse complex so I know a lot of people.

 

I have to call them again when they open at 9am and see what I can do. If it was next month, I'd do it--but this month is not looking good.

If you are breastfeeding and/or pumping; this is a valid excuse because you are unable to get away to pump at proper intervals.
