Who's looking for leg bands? What size do you need? I just ordered 50 and I'm sure I could spare a few....

I'm pretty sure no one has shipped chicken semen but I could be wrong. As far as bull semen I know it freezes very well and lasts longer that horse. When we bred Limousin cattle years ago our AI guy had a catalog of all kinds of breeds of cattle with semen available. Possibly there is semen from Mini Jersey? The Mini Jersey are quite pricey so maybe assuming the semen may not be available thru AI and only fresh since the breeders want to keep the prices high and the cow would need to be on the premises. If there is a mini Jersey in everyones backyard it kind of drives the prices down. But they can't stop it for long! I'm waiting for the Cream Legbar to be in everyones backyard and then I'm getting me a few.

See thats what I was thinking that you could add it to your flock to prevent inbreeding and stuff. I have been reading up on AI it for awhile because I am looking into getting a Mini Jersey Cow for a family milk cow but I dont wanna deal with a bull and mini jerseys are far and few between so I would have to order it and have it sent to me... But the lady on the film said it dies within a few mins? Maybe because shes not freezing it?.. I guess thats where I got confused. But it makes since why some chicken breeders would want to do it that way....

shipping bull semen is easy these days, you can use the vet or the AI guy, they ship the semen and when it arrives they will come to your house and AI your cow for you. horses are the same. I am not sure a rooster will freeze lol, or even chill.

Or possibly a surveilance drone. I could use a surveillance drone during calving season. Especially since the preferred calving location is "as far from the house as possible."
