My birds are my "fix" everyday. They are so relaxing to talk to and watch.

I miss my bird fix already. Before I left yesterday I spent an hour at the coop watching.  Sometimes the birds really have a simple life. No real worries. That and they do not fear spiders....

I was forgiven by BB "my pet" for not seeing her the whole break... it was rainy and nasty at the coop.... go figure the nice day is the day i leave.  If i can find more birds like her Dad says i could have lots of chickens....

Pidgin in the background has chicken PTSD. she will cuddle and suddenly run away scared.... that fire she survived messed her up....  her tail is starting to grow back. i saw 2 feathers.  and i think she was trying to lay an egg for me.... I don't know if she can lay or if she had internal damage.... i will be surprised if I hear from dad that there was an egg in the box. I know BB is taking a little break and I don't expect the BLRW hen in there to lay because of the stress of a new home.

I don't know why all my photos rotate on upload..... grr... they display correctly on my computer before upload...

Me and BB. my favorite bird.... I knew she forgave me when she tried to eat my diamond earring off me ear.  She loves the earring.... many birds get facinated when they get close enough to look.

I need to get more large fowl Brahmas..... they are my favorite breed.  BB is special because I got her for christmas from Narial on here. and BB has a crooked keel bone, totally bent sideways, and i had to cut her toenail off when she broke it... she still "gallops" to me from when she used to limp, the "gait" is what she knows. and it is a "gallop" not the even run.

I tried....it didn't work that way. I am frustrated. You take today off to catch up?

you just read and hit the multi quote button for what ever you want to reply too.... (nothing will happen)
Then when done reading you hit the reply button and all the post you hit multi on will pop into the post box.

OK thanks... I think I am gonna make stock out of them or maybe chicken and rice soup to can depending on how big they get. I am gonna have the 10 cornish in my freezer so I might now have much room.

Nope....just did it for this one....did not pick up the post above this one that you "multi-quoted".  What I am meaning is the "quote" inside a "quote" inside a "quote". Does this make sense?

it is a option in your settings...

Re: pics. I took a bunch at the Chehalis show and didn't take any in Monroe. It was a little chaotic and disappointing for me in comparison to the Chehalis show. I'm not sure why. Maybe I was there (Chehalis) for more of the time and saw more people come and go. Plus everyone was in a small area (CR's booth) in Chehalis, which seemed more conducive to introductions. I only saw a handful of people in passing at this show. The food went quickly. When DH and DS showed up, most of the items were gone. But...the kids had a good time. It seemed like there was a little more variety, especially in what birds people brought to sell. (Chicks! Yay!)

One of my new chicks has feet that curl toward the center instead of spreading out. Will that correct itself?
