Today I was busy, busy. At least for me that is. Got the old shed pretty well emptied, got it jacked up and the runners bolted on and gave it a test pull with my old truck. No traction, as I figured on the dang grass. Will need to think of something to get it moving. Once that happens it will be a snap to move it to its new location in the back yard.

First though I'm gonna have to strip the siding off, most of it is damp and there's a mold issue that's not really bad, but I hate doing things half way. So I will see what tomorrow brings for this tired old body of mine.

How big is this shed? how far do we need to move it?

Well I am up half the night again with DH snoring rattling the ground.

I really want to give him a free traeciotomy............funny how the mind thinks when deprived of sleep.

Really warm here, it was close to 80 here yesterday afternoon, thought I was gonna die of heat !

Sat in a lawnchair in the sun for half hour and think I was starting to turn pinky-red so had to run back in the cabin.  lau.gif

We did have a massive hatch here, between my hatch Friday (19 Marans) and Srucon's humongous Game hatch Sunday which is still going on even as I type..............Chicken math extrodinaire !

The shed is 8 x 12 and has a 7' 6" ceiling (bottom of truss).

Since I have to replace most of the siding (T- 1-11) (little to no maint for the last 10 years) I will begin removing it and see if the lightened structure will move then. The tires on the pickup are very good highway tires but lack traction on any other surface. The mold prob is none existent. What I thought was the beginning of mold is just water stain.

I intend to relocate the shed about 100 feet from where it is now. Leaving it where it is would be logically correct but I'd have to deal with several neighbors' cats. I don't want to do that,  they're pretty good mousers and help keep the rodent population down.

Are there any tail holds beyond where it is going?
