did you make this incubator?  As you may have seen......I am going to turn my freezer into an incubator.  Why do some homemade ones have humidity..some are dry?  If yours is homemade...can you show me photos and give me any tips/hints?

That needle procedure looks far less invasive than the hand surgery. I sure hope it works for you! Do you have to sleep with a hand splint? My mom was an O.T. and one of her areas of expertise was in hand and finger rehab, and she had all sorts of hand splints - some she made, others she adjusted. There was one that looked particularly painful, and Mom was always mad when she had a patient that was so neglected that they needed to use it - mostly people who have been in a coma for a very, very long time, curled up in fetal position for months. Their fingers had to be straightened a wee bit at a time, and there were little screws that had to be adjusted every few days, straightening the fingers a little bit at a time. Looked painful, like a torture rack for fingers. Mom would get so mad because with just a little therapy and flexing starting shortly after whatever the accident was that caused the coma, the patient could be spared a lot of pain and damage once they are out of the coma.

No, it not related to arthritis but it is most common in the northern Europe regions and more so  in the Irish and Scottish from what I've read about it. Naturally I am Irish, Scottish, English and Polish (God bless my Mom). My dad had a slight case, we didn't know what it was way back then and it also manifested itself when he was in his 60's.

Mine has been going on now for about 8 years and was speeding up as to its growth.

No hand splints needed. It is amazing.

Wow Mike!!  Are you sure we aren't related?? That is exactly my heritage?? Well if I understand you, was your dad the Scott, English and Irish and you mom Pole??  That's weird..... your not originally from MI are you???

My dad is Irish and English, and Mom was a Pole.

What's about that combination??  LOL!!

If you have the extra cash go get the LG than heat it up and take the other one back. Id let them know when you get the LG that you know of two other people who have taken them back also. Give them a heads up like your doing them a favor which you really are. Good luck

Well, I should have read this first, but, I had an old LG with a hole in it, so I patched it ran it for a while, saw it kept temp, then boxed up the other and took it back and I did tell them, about what happened to you, didn't know there was someone else?? I just told them, I am less than a week away from hatch!! This is rediculious!!  so, they just traded me straight across cause the LG was on sale the same time this other one was!!  At first I thought I would have to pay 20 dollars extra!!  wee.gif

So I am going to put the fan in this one and off we go again!!

I am glad she is in the hospital,, only wish it was much sooner. Friends like new doc better than old doc. Seems more concerned. I need another update., and very much want to go see her. I am also very worried that I may have given her the flu. I don't know if she has the flu, but I do.

I have been down with the flu since late Saturday - worst one I have had, but for the most part it seems to be clearing now; so awful but quick. It started with muscle aches on Friday and Saturday. Flu did not cross my mind, but stress did. Then had the chills real bad when I went to sleep, could not get warm no matter how many blankets Don piled on me Saturday night. Woke a few hours later. sweating profusely. Still sweating like crazy, but not like Sunday through about 2 pm on Monday. Every time I got up for a bathroom trip, I leave sweat drips from my face, and chest and back... bedding is heavy with sweat and has to be changed frequently. Terrible migraine, but meds help that a bit - make it tolerable. As of last night, I was able to start eating again, and today I am walking around, mostly because I am worried about my leg - never heard of this flu symptom before:

Left leg is hot and red. This is the same leg, in the same area where I had a staph infection a few years ago, only this is nowhere near as painful as that was. The pain in my leg is from pressure when I stand; not burning and itching like with the staph, and the pain subsides somewhat when my leg is elevated Anybody have any clue what it could be from?

Um not so sure!! I would personally be worried about a blood clot if it were me!! Flu does not have symptoms like that!!  Don't wait Mo, go get it checked!!
