It was 27 years ago tomorrow (that year it was the day before Easter) that my dad died.

And 22 years ago 4/10 that my mom died (that year it was the day after Easter).

Sorry but I can't bring myself to look forward to this time of year.

Ok sorry I don't intend to be a downer just in need of somewhere to turn.

Hope everybody has a nice Easter weekend however you may choose to observe / celebrate it.

I'm sorry.

So the chicken wheat is actual seed that can be grown? The site isn't very informative and I'm very obsessive about details! :D

I am sorry for your loses CR. When they are grouped together it is especially hard. I know because December is not a happy time for me as well. But life is about planning for the future and living in the present. God bless.

I'm just skimming (and have no business being online except for gosh gee whiz my goodness my hips hurt) but is there any more information about toxic feed? Dad was always really paranoid about getting stuff wet/ buying feed which had been stored wrong because one of the ways he'd lost replacement calves he was hand-raising was when a bunch of ggrain that had been at the bottom of a stack all winter had gotten damp and then was dried out before it was sold and was full of poisonous mold.

Off to take the next round of bending and walking and swearing now.

OMG....that is just too much for a person to bear (carry) on their shoulders by themselves.  You need to share the load here and let us help. I am so sorry for all the horrible memories that you have for this week. May the load on your shoulders be lightened and you have some peace of mind/heart. Here is a hug for my big friend.  hugs.gif

Hello folks.

This is HoneysuckleHills writing on behalf of Ogress. (I'm on the phone with her right now.)

Ogress: "Thanks Zgoatlady for sharing about your DIL. I listened to you and all the others and went to the doctor. Turns out I have a staph infection. I'm now hospitalized and gettting good care. I don't have computer access here in the hospital but will get back online in a few days when I get home.

Meanwhile, I have a fabulous view of the Cascades.

Send me good thoughts and energy!

Hope to be back to my normal self soon.

If you need to reach me, please PM HoneysuckleHills."
