Oh no, Ron! I'm so sorry. And after he made it so you could stay home with him too. barnie.gif

That really stinks, CR, sorry. Can you get new hives and bees? hit.gif

And come on, you can't be a failure. You know everything, just ask you, you'll tell us! hugs.gif

thought I would share....baby #2 is sitting on what used to be a kitchen knife "holder". It was the kind that had an insert of all these little plastic things and you just pushed the knife in anywhere. Well, we pulled out this inset and made it into a candler. Husband did a good job on it. The hole you see is where I put the egg.

That is a really clever idea, 4312!

Thankfully RonB pointed me in the right direction. Monroe farm and feed is gettin in 100 tomorrow along with 25 Red Broilers and 25 black broilers. SO I am gonna call when the first open and see if they get them in if so I will head over there and pick up 10-15. Next year I am just gonna say fudge it and order 25. LOL

Wow, that is going to be a lot of ducks! There won't be a single insect anywhere around your home though. th.gif

Ogress

Glad to see ya back ! take it easy for a while!  Yes I figure Mr. Ricky will cost me about $8,000 in medcial bills and lost wages. BUT  I still loved the little guy!

I think those bills endeared you to Mr. RR. It is sad he is gone. I saw a large owl in a tree over my hens a few hours ago. Somewhere near you is a raptor with an expensive diet.
Q. Why did the chicken cross the road.
A. To show the opossum and armadillo it could be done.

Well, I'm all straightened around except for a usable ladder for the EE's mansion: they're sleeping on the ground, silly things. I'd be outside making it now except for the fact it's pouring rain right now.

Went to the doc yesterday and she was all worried about my low BGs so I am reducing my insulin until my fastings are consistently between 100-110. Also I'd lost 18 pounds.

And Malvina is sitting on 9 eggs. I hope. I'm not sure how enthusiastically, as I moved her to the place I'll put together a broody pen out of 4X4 livestock panels (which would be built now, except for the hired hand's van being an inch too narrow to load the panels in: they're 60" wide, unlike the 56" wide 8" panels.

Ron's back! Ogress is back! And both to chicken disasters, so very sorry.
