We went to the poultry sale today. Stayed long enough to see that hatching eggs sell for less than I get for eatin eggs. They sold some B Pheonix for $1.25 doz and the best price was fer some humonumgus qwaker eggz $3.00 doz.  

And then as we was gettin in the truck to leave this beautiful tiny little blonde comes running to the truck with her arms out stretched. Yes it was the wonderful little jbear! She is so sweet! (did I think that out loud  yup). Scarry part is that since I taught her friend ATV safety  he knows where I live. Good thing I don't have any birds Jen wants.

!@#!@@ Lost another EE chick, 8 weeks old, today. I thought she was just lonely because I gave her brother away on Thursday to someone who needed a roo for her flock. Then this morning her wings were droopy, and I pretty much knew it was too late, but I tried to force sulmet down her throat anyway. We went to my son's dance recital, came back 4 hours later and she was dead. I have 3 EEs left. I hope they make it! I need to find an EE breeder around here because I'm losing all of my hatchery chicks!

I have some that I ordered from Jeffers.  It was sent rush mail to me and was here 36 hours after I placed the order.

My daughter entered 6 classes.  She was last in the first few and cried but things improved.  Her teacher told her not to worry about how she did compared to the others but to think about how she was doing with what she was working on in lessons.  (I love that guy).  She cheered up after that, rode better and got some really good feedback about her riding.   She did great in her trail class.  

We got the new chicken coop moved.  Now I just need to find someone to help me build some chicken runs for both coops.
