Um, if you live on the flats on Ross Canyon Rd...we are neighbors (well almost). I live between Miller and Nichols on Duck Lake rd.  (and CR this is not enough address for you to come rustle birds...LOLsmack.gif).  Yes, the little guys will squeeze through the bigger wire. Gotta watch for that. I would bet with a heat lamp for them to get in and out from they could be outside at night, but I would not put them inthe run. i was going to tell you how to post multiple quotes, but looks like someone got ya' set on that one.

Oh and a head's up....all the birds will find 1 or 2 of their favorite boxes and they will all squeeze into that 1 or 2 boxes to lay. Even if you have 10 or 12 boxes. They will all find their favorite and that is that. craz birds.

Whispers:  CR - I have that transponder you gave me.  I will make sure to install it in the new coop where 4312 will not find it.  Dial in the proper frequency, and bada-bing - new chickens :)

I had heard that before, about the boxes....silly birds!  Seramas, huh?  I don't know much about them...I'll have to look them up :)

Best.

Chicken.

Book.

Ever.

I want some!  (Seriously)

Same deal I made 4312.  You pay the gas to get me there and back, and all the materials.  If you have room for my travel trailer, you'd save your self the cost of a hotel.  Oh, and I don't eat much :)

Wal La.... That is wierd that I had to do that all of a sudden. I have used quote and multi quote several times and never gone into Preferences to change anything. Oh well it's done now. Thank you for the guided had to find my way to it!

I am so darn frustrated, because I thought I needed to down size my girls a bit. I was up to 21 so I sold 6 of them. Then over the last two days realized that my two 5yr old Barred Rocks have stopped laying. Now I am not getting nearly enough eggs for the demand I have. Sounds like I need to find a few new girls, but my problem is I WANT some beautiful EEs like ( oh gosh I hope I get this right) Sunbugs two girls! But all I can find are the normal cute ones.

Proud Momma of 5 wonderful children. Support from the greatest husband at my side. Kept company by a Great Dane, Mastiff and a Dane/Lab/Shepherd mix. Pest control from 2 cats, Pigs now in the freezer. Turkeys didn't make it past the Hollidays. Many breakfasts and lots of laughs and great times provided by over 30 adult LF chickens of many breeds! Now on our adventure to buy a new Farm.

Plea...

Does anyone have the information for our state vet? I need to have a necropsy done. Could someone just PM me with the contact information and the cost?

Oh no!!!!! Ya know my mom thought her girls quit laying and they gave them a couple of months and now BOOOM they are all in over drive again, and they were not moulting. Wierd! lol  I am tickled you think my girls are beautiful!! I got them in wenatchee from Coastal Farm Supply. My first EE's were the normal cute ones, but they feed store where I got them locally were out so I called around all day and found them in Wenatchee. We were told they were Ameracaunas, but I have been told by many they are just EE's. Which is fine with me... lol I really do not care what they are called. ROFL! They are amazing!!!! Hope was pure white fluff as a chick, and Flash was pure black fluffiness. You should have seen my face when I saw white feathers on a black chick. HA HA! Then the black came in with them... I hope you can find some beautiful EE's as well.. yippiechickie.gif

Look for the state extension office -- if you are on the east side of the mtns. look to WSU's vet school.

Thanks Sunbug! My husband would burry me out back if I drove all the way to Wenatchee just for some chickens!lau.gif

Does any one have pics of what the lil chipmuck EE chicks grow up to look like? Or are they the normal brownish ones with the black beard and muffs?

They can be so many different colors! I have one that is tan and gray, and tan and white. The tan and gray one was more chipmunk color and the tan and white was really light in color all the way around.
