That ash was amazing, and stayed around for years.

I have a broody Australorp.  sigh.  Not sure what I'm going to do about it.  My silkie is already raising four chicks and a poult, and I don't really have room for more.

I was wondering the same thing. I can't find a members pages anywhere!

They are articles now.

You can find them in your profile, it takes a little doing. Unclick all the green buttons except articles to search for it. About 1/2 way down the page.

You can link to them using the "my coop" field in your profile. Like I did

Imp

Do you think you have to be a gold feather member? I couln't find it anywhere after clicking off the green buttons.

I don't think so.

I can get to your page, but can't add it to your community profile.

Here's the link to your pages

http://www.backyardchickens.com/a/kmhunters-chicken-coop

Highlight & copy the link,

go into your profile,

click on edit community profile,

scroll to the bottom,

to the coop field box(it's the last one)

Paste it in and it will show up under your avatar/name.

Ok...I did that....but I must not be grasping something. After I have done that, where do I look for the member pages? When it comes to computers I sometimes feel so dumb. Ok, not sometimes....ALL the time! Lol!

I hope everyone can find something silly to laugh at each day - even if it's our won, silly laws! (Yes, a tad too much time on my hands, babysitting training the new puppy!

WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE MOUNTAIN BLEW???

What the heck peeps?? Did you forget what today is?? It's kinda like remembering WW2!!!   Ok, just kidding!  But, I can't help it, every year when I have to write that date, it just stays with me!!  old.gif

I lived in Underwood, WA and was sleeping since I had worked night shift. I had to do a parts run to Yakima on the 24th. That was not a fun trip.

My sister and I were sitting on our horses out in the pasture! We didn't really hear anything but saw this big cloud like thing just envelope the mt. It had been pluming a steam of ash for weeks so you could see the trail, till it blew of course!!

I was living in Salem OR. We heard it on the news and got some ash fall out. I thought it was pretty cool at the time, but I was 10 and didn't understand the catastraphic reprecussions of something like that.

You did it fine. I can now see the link to your pages under your name/avatar, & it works fine. Maybe you need to refresh or logout/in to see. The link is called My Coop

I think I misunderstood your question. If you want to see other's pages, and they have not linked it to their posts.

You will need to go to their profile,

scroll down to,

kim.jpg

Unlight the green from breeds, forums, & profiles; so only Articles is lit. This shows just articles written by that member. (You have only the 1 article- kmhunter's Chicken Coop) Then it will eliminate everything else but the articles.

Oh Ok. So if I know what the user name is I can look for articles from them? No more member pages where you can look at all the members and their BYC page? That kind of sucks. But I did just look up somone and when it gave me a post I could then follow them. I think I can look up that member more easily now. Thanks! I don't feel as stupid now. I like having my coop page there again though, thanks! I need to do some updating with new pics I guess, because there have been some changes made.
