X2

X3 and you may want to round the top corner of the roosts so it's easier on their feet. I have 2x3's wide side up so they can keep their feet warm during the winter. Avoids possible frost bite. Not that is gets that cold most of the time. That and they are not like birds like parrots and all the little wild birds we see, they don't really grasp the roost and they like to rest on their keil bone(breast bone). Just my opinion. Take it or leave it. big_smile.png But I really like your coop and run!

How about Mill Creek? How far are you from here? My kids are older and know that there are a few chickens to leave alone and they do great.

Too far for this old man, I'm sorry!

Well, tomarrow I will be haning flyers to find my sister. The only thing we found out is that not only does she have friends EVERY where, but she has been all the way to Tacoma by her self before and has friend out there too. Also she could be with a girl named Destiny(?) I guess this girl took off on the 10th and my sister the 11th. Destiny called her mom on this past Thursday and told her that she was with another white girl but would not give her name ( assuming my sister) also she tried convincing her mom that they were in Levensworth(?) or Spokan. But they had tracked her phone to Everett, by the time they got there she was no where to be found!

Here is the most recent picture of Rachel with blond hair,  but it is from a year ago.

Rachel.jpg

She is now platnium blond (no pink)

Blue/green eyes, they change between the two colors.

She is very short for her age, about 4'11",

Weighs between 90#-100#'s

I know some of you are very far away but she could be anywhere by now. We do have family in Spokan and Wenatchee.

I would apriciate it if you guys just kept an eye out, just be more aware of the kids around you, one of them could be her.

Really needing some thing good to happen soon, loseing my baby and now possibly loseing one of my baby sisters. I am going insane, I am tired from crying every day but when night rolls around I can't sleep from all the thoughts running through my head.

Makes it even worse because my dad could care less. Thanks you every one for all your concern.

I just put it on my FB page for you

I am sorry if this sounds mean...but shouldn't someone call CPS and let them know?  Maybe they could help.  I mean...you do not even have gaurdianship over her...Your dad should be doing this and OBVIOUSLY he is not doing his parental job. Sounds to mee if CPS should get involved...she still is a minor.

I do not blame ya. It never really rained here. Just sprinkles every now and then. Yuck I hate sprinkles.. lol I did just manage to get all the wire on the run and the supports for the door on, so tomorrow after I go and get more screws I will get the door on and move the girls outside! YAY! My hand hurts soo bad though. Oh well. I am sure tomorrow it will really be hurting. ROFL!  It is worth it to make the girls happy and to get rid of the chicken dust in my guest room. LOL next i will build the coop and add on to the run. yipee!

Kind of cool looking! We have a trampoline but I think the kids would be really upset if I made it into a coop.

Being that you and I are "neighbors" .....depending on what you have witnessed...I would put her on some Corid.  She could have Cocci. I have lost many birds to this before I learned a bunch of information on here. Is she fluffed up like she is "cold"?  We have the song birds, Starlings, pheasant and quail running all around us (as I am sure you do too) and they can all carry this germ/disease.

x3 (or 4?)

Also -- chicken wire will keep chickens in, but will not keep most any predators out.  Dogs, racoons, opossums, fox, bobcats and monkeys will all get through that wire.  (What do you mean monkeys are not a threat?  Have you see a very hungry monkey?)

I've finished my work on 4312's coop.  Wait until she posts pictures - that thing is HUGE.
