I can sew.  And I have unused fabric lying around.  I could probably whip up a super simple stuffed chicken pretty quick.  Great idea!  Thanks.  At this point, I'll try anything.

This is a Black Copper Marans / Allpenhaller Spitzhauben - a tiny little crest =) Looking like a boy if anyone wants to add some variety =)

That is what I am supposed to do at equal times up and down, and I do when it's rainy; but once I go outside and get dirty, I tend to keep to stay off the furniture (other than my desk chair) so I don't track dirt other places. I have some stuffed chickens.  My sister bought them at an auction for me as a joke.  I would send them along for a good cause.

Gee maybe someone could fashion a chicken like cover to slip over a heating pad  - for  an enhanced "broody mama"  effect .
