I saw on another thread a while back that someone had a sick chicken, and made a "STUFFED" chicken companion that worked very well. Plus, it was a nice family project apparently. It obviously wasn't totally chicken looking, but enough hat the sick chicken was comforted. A stuffed sock, with some sewn on bits the right colour perhaps! This particular chicken was sitting, roosting like, and the other chicken was sitting next to it. They moved it often so the sick chicken would follow it.
Might be safer than a live chicken of unknown temperament!
I can sew. And I have unused fabric lying around. I could probably whip up a super simple stuffed chicken pretty quick. Great idea! Thanks. At this point, I'll try anything.
