I have the lumber for two in my truck.  I could divert to Russ' place and spend the weekend there.

I'm sure nobody would mind ...

I was waiting for someone to say chicken coops for the man's front yard. Wow wouldn't he be suprised coming home to that. LOL

Proud Momma of 5 wonderful children. Support from the greatest husband at my side. Kept company by a Great Dane, Mastiff and a Dane/Lab/Shepherd mix. Pest control from 2 cats, Pigs now in the freezer. Turkeys didn't make it past the Hollidays. Many breakfasts and lots of laughs and great times provided by over 30 adult LF chickens of many breeds! Now on our adventure to buy a new Farm.

Plea...

I think someone might mind.  I believe that lumber already has a couple of people's names on it.  Invisibly. wink.png

Buffy, the Buff Silkie hen and a Mille Fleur Serama hen (now dubbed "Miss Monroe") have found a new home!

FifewifeJess - That Wheaton Americauna isn't laying all that well, and she was from unknown stock (consolation prize from a disreputable breeder who didn't send me the right amount of eggs from another breed, none of which hatched anyway!). I don't want to hand off something like that to you; I think too much of my fellow BYCers. Did you find another Americauna that would work for you, I hope?

Two Seramas (one black and one Mille Fleur who likes to brood) hens, 2 Splash Bantam Cochin (from Bargain) hens, 1 Buff Sussex hen, 2 GLW hens, 1 Catdance Partridge Silkie hen, 1 Salmon Faverolle hen, 2 NHRed hens, 2 Black Australorp hens, 1 Light Sussex Roo ("Bob"), and 1 Catdance Splash Roo ("Snowman") left.

Anyone???

I need space for my English Orps!!

Gave him an ultimatum and date line to follow and he needed to be moved out by this Saturday. DH was not sure beings that he (son) has no job and really no where to stay....well DS crossed the line.

He has been doing some drinking and has been drinking so much he blacks out.  Well, this last time (yesterday) he was arrested for MIP and criminal tresspass. He is in jail right now. Goes before the judge in the morning. I had to do a lot of soul searching and crying. ..... I will go to see what the judge says. DH is REALLY on board now and son is not welcome here at the house (also he is 19 years old - grown man - get a job and get responsible). We will not bail him out and we will not pay his fine.

I could babble on and on and on...I just need to drink my tea and go to bed. I won't be on for a bit...too much stuff to worry about.

Sorry to hear, Teresa. You're doing the right thing. hugs.gif

Hi! I mostly just watch the thread, but today I actually have a question! 1. Does anyone have Orpington/Wyandotte chicks around the Auburn area? 2. How long does it take til the chicks are in full feather? Planning on building my coop, but the feed store here is out of chicks.

Deborah, you might talk with WA 4-H PoultryMom. She has a 4-H family that is really interested in a splash Silkie for the kids to work with, and might also be interested in some females to keep him company.
