. . . She said nothing rude or off flavour to anyone or made rude comments about anyone.

She did not insult anyone.

She was merely telling the truth.

Added: She was only trying to help you.

X2 - there were no "ad homonym" attacks on anyone. Yes, the language was strong - I would have also been as strong. "MGSU" bought me a chicken from an auction once because it looked like a really stunning bird. It caused a lot of problems in my flock and cost quite a bit in testing and vet bills, not to mention stress on me.

No, I shot the skunk, and then it released when it died.  GAG!!  BUT what I did was mix half a bottle of Lever 2000 Pure Rain body wash with a quart of Hydrogen Peroxide in a bucket, dumped the solution on the skunk, trap, and surrounding dirt, waited a little bit, then I dumped the skunk into a Glad ForceFlex bag with Febreeze scent (which is NOT scented enough to keep the skunk smell out of your nose, but it worked well enough, good thing trash pick up is tomorrow morning!) THEN I took an entire box of Arm n Hammer pet odor eliminator powder for carpets, in fresh rain scent, and sprinkled the whole area...waiting for the impending rain to do it's job with that.  By the time I was sprinkling that stuff I could breathe normally, it still reeked, but didn't make me sickbyc.gif

Whoever responded to my post about not wanting to pay a lot of money for a bird took it WAY out of context and kinda freaked out, don't know what their problem was. Why do people care what others do for crying out loud? Oh well, s/he said they won't be back until fall hmm.png

Oh no they are really nice, she didnt mean it in a bad way at all Im sure..

If there is anybody here that would let us incubate a few chicks for you, and would be willing to take the chicks after they are a few days old off our hands, we would love it!  They wouldn't be anywhere near our tiny flock at all.  They'd be incubated in the house, and the chicks would be kept in a brooder in the house until they were delivered to their new home.

 Sent you a PM

Has anyone given their chickens eggplant? I can't find any info on whether it's okay, but since they are in the nightshade family I want to double check before giving them any. Thanks!

I've given chickens eggplant. No problem that I am aware of.
