Busy day here. Got 12 yards of bark delivered this morning and I think we got through maybe half of the pile distributing it around the flower beds.....yes, even in the rain! Back is aching and we'll do it again tomorrow! Unless it's pouring.....really looking forward to the weather after the 4th! Looks like it will be nice........finally!

Well after a few failed attempts, weather it was the computer freezeing or me some how eraseing everything, I finaly made a My Chicken page!  Yeah.

Whenever we eat squash or pumpkin, I take the seeds and rinds and an over-ripe banana or whatever else is on hand and run it all in the food processor. All my chickens go crazy for it! Olivia even tried some and thought it was tasty.

I don't use the Wazine first - I went straight for the Eprinex. I thought maybe since Eprinex is topical it may be slower acting than ivermectin so they are not getting a huge dose at once. I don't know if it is true, but I have never had a problem. I also heard that Eprinex does not have a withdrawl time, but I feed the eggs to the dogs for a week starting a couple days after I use the Eprinex. Maybe it helps the dogs too, but I bet the dose is too small.

 I use to do our goats fecal test all the time. Got trained by a vet the only thing I couldnt tell some types of the worms. Wonder if I could do it for chickens, Ive got a great microscope to use...

I LOVE pickled Herring (mom is from Holland so I ate it and salty black licorice like candy - yum!)

Never tried sturgeon in any form except caviar. Don't care for caviar
