BTW... I don't put the grit or oyster shell in any feeders. I just sprinkle both of them on the floor of the run. I used to put them in bowls, and they'd knock them over. Having the grit and oyster shell on the floor gives them something to scratch through, too. I don't use hay or anything like that in my run. It's bad enough that my allergies react to the pine chips - I'm not about to take a chance with hay on the ground.

I love my spiders. I know that they are excellent at eating other bus that are much worse. I rarely ever kill the spiders around here. There are times when I have to suggest that they leave certain places though. I will admit to not being very happy last year, when I had on of the big fall spiders make a face height web just out my sliding patio door. She got moved right after the picture was taken.
