Blue Laced Red Wyandotte THREAD! - Page 2

It's the same rooster in both pictures. I've got a mature Silver Laced hen, and we're hatching more of both (I hope.)

I lost my whole flock due to poor biosecurity. Read about it here: Infectious Laryngotracheitis, and learn from my mistakes so it doesn't happen to you.

Here are mine. I found them at a flea market last fall. The same guy had another trio and I've kicked myself in the butt numerous times because I didn't buy them too.

I officially NEED some of these... droolin

How is egg production?  I need something to entice hubby with.  After "HIS" EE got beaten up and had to be removed from the coop I was told "absolutely, positively, NO MORE CHICKENS"... roll Good thing he's a push-over.

I got two pullets in an assortment from MM.  They are tan, not red, and I'd love to have some with the mahogany red instead of this pale tan but no one will part with them!

Three Blue Lace Red Wyandotte Chicks. What do you think, about 2 weeks old? There were lots of hatching delays with the batch of chicks from a certain place and I guess these hatched and they had to reset my Ameraucanas eggs, so I got my Wyandotte and Cochins a bit older. Fine by me. lol

I love how they blend with the leaves. (these were straight run, so I don't know what I got. One is lighter in color than the other two. But I don't know much about what they should look like to know if you can sex them by that.)

These are my first Wyandottes. I also got some golden and silver laced. I can't wait till everyone is up and running around the backyard. So pretty!

Homeschooling Mama to 5 little boys and one baby girl.
Looking to rebuild our flock as we lost all our girls and rooster to a dog.
First set of babies is now 7 weeks old, next set arriving Feb. 16th, then last set in March. Can't wait to get them all grown!
