How would you interpret this?

Despite the horrible wording, how would you interpret this ordinance wording:
"No livestock shall be kept within a minimum of one hundred (100) feet shall be maintained from any neighboring structure."

I'm assuming they mean a neighboring structure to be any structure either on your property or off, but could it also mean within a 100 feet of a neighbor's structure and not apply to how close the coop is to your house? (I'm really hoping for the 2nd).

I read it as the neighboring structure, not yours.

it doesn't say clearly so you should capitalize on the fact and build closely to your house

Thank you both! I first read it the same as you did and was overjoyed that I met all of the criteria (there are a lot more rules) but then I read a newspaper article discussing it and they described it as being from any dwelling. It's sad that people writing laws can't write a sentence that makes sense but I'm definitely going to capitalize on the ambiguity of it.
