Superior Farms

Hey everyone,

Just thought I would share this link to Superior Farms map in Yukon OK. They're out of business now but many people know of the place. I am basing my new facility off some of theirs like the waterfowl breeding pens. If you zoom in you can see all the birds and barns.

Just thought it would be interesting!

Getting back into breeding poultry. Looking for SQ stock of Lakenvelder Bantams and LF, Delaware Bantams, Pyncheon Bantams, Catalana Bantams and LF, and Crevecoeurs Bantams and LF. Please contact me if you know of any breeders or may have stock for sale!

That is truly an amazing farm!

It was an amazing place. More for the size of the operation than beingĀ  conducive? to breeding and raising poultry. If I were building a new facility I would keep looking. Birds do not lay in the winter in those buildings in that climate. There was no place to raise young birds unless you moved the breeders? Not finding fault with Lou McGinnis but if I were building a new facility I would try to make things as easy as possible.Automatic feeders&waterers?

Thanks for posting. I was wondering if they were out of business. I know the link in my favorites doesn't work anymore. Anyone know why they went out of business? It's kind of scary when a big operation like that can't make it.
