i saw that too and thought if only they could round up a male and female and send them to each BYC member who wanted them, the problem would be solved. I'd pay for shipping if they could do that.But then again-how do you ship an adult pair of peafowl?

I'd love eggs from them though. The photos of them were beautiful!

lucky lady who has 1 very patient hubby, 5 kids ages 15-28, 1 dog (+ a new puppy!!!!) 5 cats,  6 Mandarins, 4 Khaki Campbell ducks,  4 Sebastopol Geese (& 6 of their babies so far- all 6 sold), and about 30 chickens  (mostly BCM, with a few others...and new chicks  )

Hmm, there was a story on NPR about how Key West locals want to get rid of the chickens that are known to stroll around town. The tourists like them but the townspeople don't.

And today I was visiting another local paca farm and they have a peacock (along with their guineas and chickens) and that got me really curious about them. Can't imagine feral ones though!
