Hope to take the boys home to visit the grandparents within the next few weeks.  Would like to take you up on your offer.  :)  I'll have to fire up the incubator and get'er stable.  Will get in contact with you when I have a plan set.

They'll be big enough to move out to the shed by the time spring is hitting.

Thanks for the ok.  I'll add your birds to the site!

Hoping to pick up some from other breeders as well, this season, to expand the flock as well as raise up some of my own.

I'm still waiting on my order of Sand Hill IBs from last year. Got a call in Sept and was told they had gone broody most of the summer. I'm on the list for May now.

Hmm.  Maybe I'll save myself the trouble and just make some trips to Iowa.  :D

Still thinking and IB swap and greet would be a ball.. wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more, say no more.

Happy to swap eggs later this spring, but right now my IB flock is in with the Ameraucanas for overwintering.  Will have to wait for a bit yet to set IB eggs of my own.  The girls are laying, though, and the eggs are getting bigger.

For you Iowa folks, the Waverly swap is 4-15-12. I know many of you attend, including Trish. Maybe we could meet there and trade IaB eggs?

Oooooohhh, I could make that, but really nervous to leave the eggies home with hubby for this long:

Hopefully would have them locked in to steady by then, as the incubator is very touchy about adjustments and I think he'd either freeze them or fry them if I had him adjusting anything.  :p  Poo.

Well let me know, I can send you eggs any time. Getting 6-7 a day out of 7 hens.

karimw - definitely want another crack at those eggs this year.  :)  You have silver-penciled chicks being produced, too?

Let me get by boards here this week and I'll figure out timing on everything (so that I don't have to have hubby caring for chicks while I'm gone for nationals, lol.)
