Will a rooster mount a pullet that isn't laying.....

My rooster found a old stuff animal outside that was his favorite hen for a while.

they will mount anything they think will let them.
 
this is goos to know, I have been wondering the exact same thing, I have a trio of Orpingtons'(brutas, speckely and spockely) I was told wouldn't lay until January (born May) but I have been watching one of the cockerel (not brutas) mounting one of the orp girls(speckely), the other one (spockley) batters the boys. have been noticing a different shaped egg longer shaped and pale coloured, in the nest box 1 every day and wondering if it's hers. but since I was told she would only lay in January I really did wonder. might pop them in the incy and see if it comes to anything x
