Laying hard boiled eggs??? - Page 3

My money is on it being a prank.

I'm a Farmer/Rancher  Wife,Mom & Grandma  No Farms, No food.
If you want house chickens and ducks in diapers then this is the forum for you.
I've got 50+ years of poultry experience, but this 'poultry' forum isn't for me anymore.
If you're going to complain about farmers, don't do it with a full belly or a mouthful.

Mine too, and what a good one! lol

I've had some fun in my time, substituting goose eggs for chickens, etc., then sending an experienced egg collector out for the eggs. I think my favorite was when a former BF came back in, deer in the headlights look, said very seriously "Our chickens are changelings!"

Poultry- they may be your pets, they may be your hobby, they may be your livestock. But remember, if you fall down in the pen, unconscious? They WILL eat you.

Unless your ducks are going through some sort of very slow self combustion, it's a PRANK!!!  There are no logical explinations for this.

I agree. No way a bird lays a hard boiled egg that smells OK and is normaL IN EVERY OTHER WAY. Maybe under a heat lamp, but otherwise............Is this a riddle ?

Not a prank by any of our family members. Not sure who would. Only explanation I got unanimously was that it was a prank. Now the mystery will be who is pulling said prank. Thanks for your help everyone, I appreciate all the help and comments smile

The lady who was getting hard boiled chicken eggs? She was positive that her husband, etc, would never do such a thing. Took her a while to find out, but it was a group conspiracy! I think it was DH, close friend or BIL, close friend or SIL, and they had sometimes rolled the eggs under the fence from next door! lol

The one thing that is different about these 2 different threads is the OP of this thread says that the eggs are like perfect hard boiled eggs. The other thread there is definetly nothing perfect about that egg sickbyc That OP even states if wasn't pleasant!! hu

This is weird!! I'd have to say prank too!!
