This thread is dead.
Someone revive it.
I can't right now because I have too many babies right now and still have two hatches coming off, one tomorrow and one next week.
I'll take them to get the chain moving.. I have the following roosters in my free range flock : BO, RIR, two Ameraucana, 2 Lt Brahma, 2 Columbian Wyndotte, and three BLRW.. (I know..a bunch of roosters).. I have four times as many hens from the same breeds.. add in Barred Rock hens and hummm a couple of little Bantam buff brahmas (won't send the tiny eggs).. oohh and a Magpie duck.. won't send her infertile eggs either.
I can send 12+ on Monday to the person that claims.. might even suprise you with a pure egg or two
Now lets get this moving
Shelly
I will add 3 BBS Orpington eggs to the offer to revive the chain..

This is my first time trying to do a swap. I THINK this is what I should be doing...
Mine
can offer 7 Olive eggers ( ee Mums, Maran roo) and can throw in 2 showgirl eggs.
Or 10 texas A & M Quail eggs if we are going cross species.
Then I send the eggs to whomever claims them and get a tracking number, correct (also while I have you all paying attention, to what threads do silkies belong to? they are mixed colors, so bantam, large fowl or? )

welcome and have fun!wife to an amazingly supportive Godly husband that engages in my "chicken addiction" & animal craziness. Mom of two amazing girls and array of animals!

I have a question. I am just starting to try and set my own eggs...so we'll see how that goes before I can participate in anything like this but....About How Much does it cost to ship eggs?? How do you ship them? Priority in the flat rate boxes or some other way?? Curious to know!!

Usually around 15. Some people ship in a carton with each egg individually wrapped. I know a lot use priority but not sure which box.

I wrap each egg individually with bubble wrap and usually use the regional rate boxes from the USPS website. I can ship them most places for $5-7. I have never had someone get a broken egg, and most have been having good hatches.
