Hey Sandar,

am i mistaken or do you have two shades off the black Mandarins, the ones in the first pictures seem to be a lot darker than the last ones, fine looking birds, they are really beatifull,

On my last post pictures are red and black mandarins. The same black male was in the all photos.

There are  visual differences in males in the black mutation. Some have darker breasts, and some lighter (without brown). I have a darker males and only to such leave for further reproduction.

I'll show you the pictures. You can see the difference between dark and bright  black mandarin breast.

They are all black males, but one normal. For me is more beautiful darker ( that I have).

Could anyone tell me if Mandarins would be able to survive the temp in southern Arizona. I would like to start a couple but our summer highs range from 114 to 120. They would have plenty of shade and a pond but I'm still not sure.  Thanks

I'm curious about their noise level . Most hen ducks have a loud quack do mandarins . do the males quack or is it quiet like other ducks . also does anyone have the korean variety that they would consider shipping eggs or chicks?? Those black are gorgeous too.

The noise level of male and female isn't very high and also not disturbing, i'm from Belgium and have a pair of Koreans, where are you from, i don't know wich possibilities there are,
