The Big Island is no where near as commercial as Oahu, and Kauai is just little.

Where I live is not very commercial.  Takes me an hour to get to the grocery store.  I miss the convenience of the mainland at times.  Then I look out my window! big_smile

Aloha, Barbara! smile

I don't have any good information about turkeys, but if you get on the "other poultry" thread, you might get some more answers.

I love, love, love the Big Island.

Owned by two old dogs (yellow lab and a big, red, fuzzy mutt) and four chickens (Buff Orpington, Barred Rock, and two Easter Eggers)
