This is the first of several auctions I hope to post this week of the Silkies I currently have for sale. I've been waiting for it to stop raining so I could get the birds out and take some decent pictures, but I don't think it's ever going to stop:( This pretty calico cockerel was born around the end of October and technically, he is a gray with autosomal red. He is out of a blue Porto hen that was born with partridge striping and my partridge rooster (I did a lot of playing with color last fall). He is quite a striking cockerel, with perfect feet, very nice comb and good wings. I would prefer to sell him locally, but will ship him too. Shipping cost includes price of a new box, fresh fruits and vegies to keep him hydrated during his trip and delivery to the Portland airport post office so he does not get delayed up here in the boondocks. I'm going to be busy getting ready for the silkie nationals the week after this auction ends, so will ship the week of 4/18. Please pm or email me with any questions.![]()
