In the beginning I was not going to us poop boards but decided to try it and it's great. Easy clean out and the coop definatley stays cleaner longer.I do put pine shavings with DE in the poop board. I also use the deep litter method. Board is removable and I just dump it into my compost pile every other day. I have 4 chickens and they are only in the coop at night.
