I know that a lot of you are buried under mountains of turkey eggs right now, but for those of us that live way to the north laying has just started..at least for me. Found what I think is my first turkey egg of the year this afternoon. The reason I say I think is because it could be a peafowl egg. I have everyone together; chickens, peafowl, and turkeys all in one coop and run. I'm very new to peafowl so I'm not sure what I have. I googled peafowl egg(s) and found some pics that look a lot like this egg. It also looks a lot like the turkey eggs I got last spring. Here are a few pics. The eggsperts can chime in on this if you would be so kind.
With a large Barred Rock/EE MUtt egg.

The spots on the egg are almost a light red color rather than the usual brown I've seen on most turkey eggs. I'm leaning towards turkey, but I'm juts not sure. My turkeys are Domestic Eastern Wilds and DEW/Standard Bronze crosses if that matters.
