So oure saying I need to get my dog hit by a car, then? Hmmmm. Not an idea I've completely ruled out....considering the nature of the dog....

TOTALLY KIDDING FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WILL JUDGE. But on a side not, ya'll don't really know the dog.....

I'm headed out of town, so the wife is out with the chickens while they are out and about.  She just came and told me that we need to be careful/watchful of raccoons cuz she saw a raccoon feather out near the coop.  I said a raccoon feather?  She said yes a raccoon feather.  Then she thought about it and said maybe it wasn't a raccoon cuz they have fur...

LOL!!!

Duck food:

birth to  2 weeks  18-20% protein

Weeks 2-7 16% protein

Weeks 7-20 15-16% protein

.30- ,40 pound per bird per day

Butcher when fully feathered,  Between 6 1/2 - 10 weeks there will be a 5-10 day window

If missed, wait another 6-10 weeks

My ducks are eating a turkey pellet which is 20% protein, plus whatever grass, bugs, kitchen scraps they can find. Also a very small amount of dry cat kibble daily for animal protein. Oyster shell free choice for the adults.

Hmmm, Things I have made my dogs puke: tin foil with raspberry pie filling and bits of plastic that had been a screw driver handle.  Grossest thing the Labradors have ever eaten? Unmentionables from the bathroom garbage can?   No.  A civet cat that had been floating dead for a month in a pond?  No.   Drum roll please.  While hiking the trail in Cummins Creek Wilderness one of our Labs stepped of the trail for a moment.  Came back with a smashed gooey giant green slug on her muzzle along with poop.  And toilet paper.  There is no cleaning slug slime covered poop off of a dog's muzzle with whatever might be in a day pack.  If any of you need to clean smashed gooey slug slime off of a dog I can say from experience that pickle juice works great, whether it is on the dog's muzzle, or the dog's butt.....

I know a guy that can get me these white meat ducks out of California for about 2.50 each. He says they will be 7 to 8 lbs. live weight at 11 weeks.  What is duck meat worth and is there much of a market for it?

Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton agreed on little publicly, but they did agree that when the public treasury becomes a public trough and the voters recognize that, they will send to government only those who promise them a bigger piece of the pie
