I am finding all sorts of uses for those wire squares that clip together into storage cubes.. They can be found for cheap (or free) and could  make a good 'anti brooding' pen..

Just wanted to share a couple pics of the LF salmon Faverolles cockerel I am currently using in my breeding pen...he belongs to chickened, but came from my breedings late last summer....LOVE this cockerel!!!

2 Buff Orpingtons, , 2 Australorps, 2 Bantam EE, 2 Delawares, 2 Barnevelders, 2 blue mixed something, 1 "Orpicana",1 Polish mix that looks like a roadrunner! A black Bantam Faverolles rooster named Henry. And 2 Australian Spotted ducks.

2 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats.

Oh My! He is gorgeous! I am building a second coop so I can get some Favs. Seeing this boy makes me all the more excited! I will be calling on you CL!! How far is Canby from Lake Oswego?

For those of you who remember on this thread:  Rosie, turned into Rodney..... I can't have a roo in the city.... :-(  Thanks for CL and some others careful observance...  Here's him from my house 2 weeks ago....

Yeah, he likes the hogs more than the other chickens.  They pick on him, but the hogs just let him stand there and eat with them and roost on their backs...  That's one twisted Rooster!
