I believe it is Oct. 20th.  Check on pacificnorthwestpoultry.org/ to be sure.  The more the merrier! Oops, I guess it is on the 2nd weekend of Oct.  I just saw Cloverleaf's post after I made mine.  Guess I need to look at the site above.... :)

Cloverleaf - How are the Japanese chicks doing?  Your son will have to keep us updated & my son would love to work with him if he chooses to start a breeding program.

They're doing great!  :)  All snuggled in with all the Faverolles and Ameraucanas in the brooder! big_smile.png  We'll definitely keep you posted, he was SO excited to get them! :)  It's kind of fun having him do what he wants to do with the chickens, instead of just being a part of what I'm doing.

It is by Christmas Valley and Silver Lake. 90 miles southeast of Bend, 100 miles west of Burns, and 100 miles north of Lakeview. Pretty much the middle of nowhere, but I love it.  I grew up here and came back after getting my teaching degree.

Ever been to crack in the ground?  I have friends that live near the sinks near Christmas Valley.

Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton agreed on little publicly, but they did agree that when the public treasury becomes a public trough and the voters recognize that, they will send to government only those who promise them a bigger piece of the pie
