I do not have Midget Whites... have Royal Palms, but mine are housed with my chickens. The only problem I have had was when I let my female turkey hatch her own eggs out. I had to make a pen in the coop for her and the babies. I had trouble keeping chickens out of it and Momma in. We finally pulled the babies and put them in a brooder for a couple weeks. Then they went into our "chicken jail" which is in the coop. Everyone can see each other but can't get to one another. They stayed there for a few more weeks and then we let them out with everyone else. They do fine. In the evening at roosting time..everyone kinda of waits to see where the turkeys are going to roost..and then they settle in on the other half of the roost. I think as long as there is plenty of room for everyone and it's not crowded, it works.

Thats awesome i have five bronze broad breasted turkeys and i have them separate from my chickens, cause i always though that the chickens can make the turkeys sick with blockhead or something like that how does it works cause im going to get royal palm turkeys in september and i would love to see them play around with the chickens

The fair is going great, though the rules are rediculously strict in the poultry department. Ugh! I can't even take my own birds out of their cages to fit them for showin.  was told this was against the rules.

Anyway. Anyone who wants to see my birds can come on down. I'll be there around 2 or 3 today and will be getting their early tomorrow and staying til about 5ish. My birds are the only seramas and the only dominiques there.

Also, want to add. I have a pair of 14 week old Dominiques available for sale. They are a bit small for their age, but will be good pets or 4-H. I am asking 25.00 for the hen and the roo is free if you take her. Otherwise the roo is $10.00 by himself.

Do you want chicks or adults?  PM me if you are interested in a POL BCM pullet or chicks in a couple of weeks.  Mom lays a solid "6" on the Marans scale, don't know what Dad will bring to the table yet, soon.............
