A new Hobby Soap making Love it

Here are a few favorites I've made this year. This one is a soap I made with natural indigo with copper mica lines. I put Tea Tree in for a smell and for health benefits. Sunflower oil and coconut oils are main ingredients. I made it with my sister as her first soaping experience. And I think I love it for that reason mostly. But it's also matchy matchy with my bathroom counter and woodwork. LOL...So there you have it.

This Soap has become a favorite. Activated charcoal and Dead sea clay. Orange EO x10 and Tea Tree. I use it as a facial bar and love it!!! It disappears in the shower as well. DH has been using. He likes his man soap (Male scents) But he's been busted using this bar this week. Hahaha.

And then the cuts of the one top I posted earlier. I call it hunter's bay. It has Acorn and Oak Leaves, and Earth Fragrance Oils. People love it. And I've been selling a good number of bars of this.

Question: I've heard of people putting dried flower petals in their soaps. What kind of flower petals? Rose? I have collected petals from my Camelias and am attempting to dry (in the way that many people dry herbs, in a cool, dark, dry place).

I would say that rose petals are good and also candula ( marigold) are good. Will let you know that too many or too much the petals turned brown with the lye process for me and dis colored my soap even -- that was with lavender buds. So now I just decorate the tops with the petals.
