We have the three girlfriends -- Margarita, Carmelita and Little Latin Lupe Lou. They're chili pepper red sex links. We were originally going to name Lupe (the smallest) "Door Number Three", but didn't have the heart.  They're very sweet girls.  If I had three roosters, I'd name them Hell, Purgatory and Limbo!

No matter where I go, the laundry still hasn't been done.

I use plant names w abbreviations. When I was a kid all good barn cats were named for flowers. I dont have a farm now, but I do have chickens so I am carrying on the tradition- sort of:)

Rooster- Meadow Rou aka Rou

Hens
Coral Bell aka Cora
Gladiolus aka Gladdis
Blue Bell aka Belle

My kids (ages 3-9) helped name many of mine.  Here they are so far, all pullets:

dorkings: Shaka, Silver, and Peeps

silver laced wyandotte: Tiger

cuckoo marans: Dotsy

buff brahmas: Parvati, Gayatri, and Surya

dominique: Maggie

Cara Peachick on BYH and FB.
Dorkings, Speckled Sussex, Welsummers, Buff Brahmas, Gold Laced Wyandottes, a Silver Laced Wyandotte, a Salmon Faverolle, a Dominique, a Cuckoo Marans and a homegrown Buff Brahma x Cuckoo Marans mutt.  Trying two Brown Leghorns to see if they are just too, too crazy.
Also: LaMancha goats, a collie, a great pyrenees, a cat, 3 kids, and a DH.
